Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups of marinara sauce
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons of dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons of dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Dip each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture, making sure the chicken is coated evenly.
  3. Turn on the Instant Pot and press the Sauté button. Add the olive oil to the pot.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in the pot and brown each side for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Remove the chicken breasts from the pot and pour the marinara sauce over the chicken.
  6. Close the Instant Pot and press the Manual button. Set the timer to 8 minutes on high pressure.
  7. Once the timer is up, release the pressure manually and remove the lid.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken and put the lid back on the Instant Pot for a few minutes, until the cheese is melted.
